My name is Marian and I am an ASHA-certified, NLA trained speech-language pathologist. I earned my Bachelor's degree in History from Brigham Young University and my Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Baylor University.

Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including schools, private clinics, and hospitals, serving clients age 1-99. I have a special love for early language development, supporting Gestalt Language Processors (GLPs), and using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to empower children with diverse communication styles.

Outside of work, I stay busy as a wife and mom to three amazing kids. I love reading, playing the piano, hiking, and traveling. I’m also a big fan of chocolate chip cookies and Mexican food!

My Therapy Approach

I believe children learn best when they feel safe and accepted. My therapy sessions are play-based and child-led, creating an environment where each child feels comfortable and eager to participate.

I love weaving in children's literature to spark language development, imagination, and meaningful conversation. Books provide a natural way to build vocabulary, strengthen comprehension, and encourage rich, playful interactions.

Collaboration with families is essential for lasting progress. I work closely with parents and caregivers to empower families to feel confident in supporting their child's growth and progress. I strive to create a warm, encouraging space where children and their families feel capable, connected, and excited to grow together.
